El Padre Juan Carlos Cortez regresa a su ciudad natal
El día sábado 28 de septiembre, en la Capilla de Fundación Fré, se realizó la Misa de Despedida del Padre Juan Carlos Cortez, Fundador de la Fundación.
En la oportunidad estuvieron presentes voluntarios y beneficiarios en su mayoría de la comunidad haitiana, estos últimos emocionaron primero con el coro que participó en la misa con canciones en creol y luego con las palabras que le brindaron al sacerdote amigo que siempre les tendió una mano.
Su partida deja un gran vacío en la Comunidad Frè pero también un sinfín de enseñanzas para seguir adelante con esta obra de amor. El Directorio en pleno se comprometió a seguir adelante con el trabajo por la comunidad migrante y a mantener intacto el sentido por el que nace la Fundación, el cual es acoger, dignificar y promover la inserción social de los migrantes en Chile.
El Padre regresa en octubre a Chillán, su ciudad natal.
